Peace peace community, the month of December was a beautiful month. A great way to end 2025 with a smile on our face. Many of us are in a season of shedding. What does not work or fit, has to go! Steele Studios wants to send peace and blessings to our readers and family.
On December 29th, 2025, history was made. People may ask, why bring up the past?
Well, to be honest, when you hear about a Black owned book store who has experienced trials and tribulations, and still came back to give the community liberation, we need to compliment our past. Our past reminds us that we, who have face ups & downs, are meant to last. Steele Studios, would like to dedicate this news article to Victoria Scott-Miller, owner of The Liberation Station in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Experiencing The Liberation Station bookstore warmed our hearts. The place made you feel like a kid again! Most importantly, Victoria and The Liberation Station put smiles on our children's faces. Thank you Liberation Station, for opening up a space where children will continue to learn and be themselves. This is what our children need. Thank you, Thank you!
To also include other opportunities Washington Terrace has with the community. We walked the strip and stopped by Juiced. A local all natural smoothie bar that sells herbs and more. Juiced has great quality smoothies that will get you through your day, we recommend the Ginger Glow. We also stopped by Nail Yeah. Nail Yeah style of nails establishment provides women and men with healthy manicures, facials and more.
We will be back to the Washington Terrace strip. If you're ever in downtown Raleigh, and need a haircut, natural smoothie, manicures, or more stop by Washington Terrace across the street from Saint Augustine University, they’ll get you right!
