The explanations and information shared in this policy are designed to provide a clear understanding of how refunds are handled by Steele Studios LLC. These guidelines reflect general best practices for creative and service-based businesses, but they do not constitute legal advice. Refund rules may be affected by North Carolina laws or other local regulations, so Steele Studios LLC encourages clients and business owners to seek licensed legal counsel for full legal assurance.

Refund Policy — The Foundation

As a creative agency offering customized services, strategic support, and digital deliverables, Steele Studios LLC approaches refunds with transparency and intention. Because much of our work involves time, labor, and personalized creative development, refunds cannot always be offered once services have begun.

However, we recognize that life, business, and technology can bring unexpected circumstances. For that reason, Steele Studios LLC allows limited refunds and conditional partial refunds, outlined below with fairness and clarity.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered under the following limited circumstances:

  • Duplicate or accidental payments

  • Technical processing errors on our end

  • Services that have not yet begun (no planning, creative development, or strategy work started)

  • Situations where Steele Studios LLC is unable to provide the agreed-upon service

These circumstances will be reviewed individually, and a refund is not guaranteed unless the criteria are fully met.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted when:

  • A client cancels after a service has started but before it is completed

  • Portions of the project remain untouched and can reasonably be credited

  • Steele Studios LLC determines that partial compensation is appropriate for the amount of work completed

Once creative direction, design work, strategy development, meetings, consultations, or customized deliverables have begun, only the unfinished portion of the service may be eligible for a partial refund.

Non-Refundable Items & Services

The following are non-refundable at all times:

  • Deposits or retainers used to secure project start

  • Monthly subscription payments already processed

  • Custom designs, illustrations, photography, branding, or creative work already delivered

  • Digital products, templates, or downloadable files once accessed

  • Missed meetings, delayed client responses, or incomplete materials from the client

These protections honor the time, labor, and creative resources invested by Steele Studios LLC.

Cancellations & Terminations

If a client chooses to cancel services:

  • Refund eligibility will depend on whether work has begun

  • Partial refunds may be reviewed if appropriate

  • Subscription payments already processed cannot be refunded

  • Future payments (if applicable) may be cancelled once written notice is given

Steele Studios LLC reserves the right to pause or discontinue services that violate agreements or disrupt workflow. Refund decisions in these circumstances will follow the same limited and partial guidelines above.
