Another day in The Bear Cave Podcast, but this one felt different, alive with legacy, laughter, and the spirit of Shaw University.During this special Homecoming episode, the Bear Cave welcomed back one of its own alumna Zaid Steele, founder of Steele Studios Marketing.

The halls of the Mass Communications department buzzed with pride as hosts Tamyra and Kimore Carter sat down with Zaid to talk about life after graduation. The conversation flowed with ease, from college memories to the new horizons she’s now exploring: short films that tell the truth of community, music that carries messages of hope, and a marketing business that uplifts entrepreneurs and small businesses across the nation.

Outside the studio, the campus shimmered with Shaw pride alumni embracing students, memories blending with new beginnings. Inside the Cave, the mic carried something even more timeless: a story of purpose, growth, and returning home to inspire the next generation of voices.

Because at Shaw, the story never ends, it only evolves. To listen to the podcast episode visit www.shawu.edu.
