On November 9th, community builder, mentor, and mental health advocate Neco Niche hosted her Gather & Give for the local community. Many gathered together at 2 N Pettigrew St, Raleigh, NC 27610 (The Museum BarberShop) to share free clothes, food, and more. In search of a safe community and space, volunteers and family prepared plates with beans and rice, mac & cheese, mixed vegetables, greens, greens beans, and chicken for the protein! The team, also provided free produce bags for the families to leave with. With over thousands of clothes donated from the local community, Neco was able to provide most donations to families.

We’re excited to see positive things such as Gather & Give. Bringing people together in a time of need, and providing resources that will help us in our day-to-day lives. We had a chance to ask Neco, in one word how would you describe November 9? She stated “Overjoyed” she went on to say, “I’m always in a space of grace, gratitude, and intentionality, we’re doing something greater for the community, this is beyond us.”
Here at Steele Studios we want to say (thank you) Neco Niche, for using your time to help give back and build together for those in need.
