Kobe x Andrè 3000

Zaid Steele had the opportunity to work with a Kansas City artist while also reconnecting with a childhood friend, making the experience both creative and personal. The project was centered around preparing for a trip to Atlanta, where the artist would attend a concert, drawing inspiration from the timeless 1990s style of André 3000.

Zaid supported the vision by focusing on model direction guiding posture, movement, and angles to ensure each shot reflected the desired aesthetic. While the creative concept was already established, her role was to bring precision and presence to the execution, helping translate inspiration into imagery that felt both intentional and true to the artist’s vision.
