Zaid Steele, through Steele Studios, collaborated with MouthSplit—Motivating Our Universe Through Hip-Hop: Spreading Peace, Love, Intelligence & Truth. A Durham, North Carolina based brand founded in 1997 with a mission to uplift and educate through culture and music.
For their back-to-school event, Zaid was entrusted with videography, photography, and event planning. She approached the project with a deep respect for the brand’s history, capturing moments that reflected both its legacy and its continued impact on the community. Through intentional visuals and thoughtful coordination, the event was documented as both a celebration and a continuation of Mouthsplit’s enduring message.
